Hi there. I am entering my 16th year of teaching, but my second year as a teacher in a school whose sole purpose is serving students with language based learning disabilities. My students are fun and curious, but also constantly frustrated at their personal struggles with reading, writing and other language deficits. I have found that creating a warm, inviting classroom helps build their confidence and allows us to focus on strategies to help them grow and succeed. Your contributions will make this 6th grade year an absolute winner for them!
