I have been teaching for 21 years. I am moving down to kindergarten from grades 4/5. It will be my first time teaching kindergarten. I have taught in the primary grades with 1st grade being my longest tenure, 14 yrs. Kindergarten is a foundational grade and by helping purchase these items you will help us as we build our classroom from scratch with some of the essentials needed to get our year started. The items chosen are hands on and will help develop student growth with a kinesthetic approach and minimal use of technology for this young age. Students learn in different ways and these items will help us target some of those areas, especially at the beginning of the year when some students have never been to school while others are transitioning from preschool. Please help me give my students a great start to kindergarten with these essential items.
