Hello! My name is Mr. Brewer, and I am excited to be joining the Thames Elementary family as the 4th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Reading and Writing teacher. This is my first year teaching 4th grade, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to dive into the world of literacy with my students. While this is my first year officially in the 4th-grade classroom, my journey in education began last year when I taught 1st grade. That foundational experience taught me so much about the importance of building strong reading and writing skills early on, and it sparked an even deeper passion in me for helping students develop a lifelong love for learning. I have always believed in the power of literacy—not just as a skill, but as a tool for opening doors, sparking imagination, and building confidence. There is something truly special about watching students grow, both academically and personally, as they find their voice through reading and writing.
