I am starting my first year of teaching in this next school year! I will be teaching kindergarten and I could not be more excited. I will be teaching at a school where majority of the students come from poverty and low income homes. My goal is to provide my students with an environment that they feel safe in, successful, and comfortable. A lot of my students will not have the necessary materials needed for the school year so I would like to stock my shelves with the things they will need without any extra stress for them or their families, and this includes snacks! Any help with building my classroom is greatly appreciated!
