Family and Consumer Sciences Education- Practical Arts Life Skills
I teach an elective course housed in practical arts. Family and Consumer Sciences education is skill you can learn and apply throughout life. I teach sewing and construction, cooking safety, sanitation and small meal prep. Along with communication, human development and design. These skills are important not only in our everyday life but can lead to many different careers and options for our students. I work at a high need school with most families are low income. I would love any help preparing my room for my students and making a welcoming environment for them.
