Underprivileged Schools Have Extra Awesome Students
I have taught at Los Cerritos for 7 years now and I am still blown away by the kids and families that we serve. We are in a district that does not care at all about its Title 1 schools, especially ours, but we never let that stop us from working together to create the best school possible. Our families SHOW UP. Our kids try their hardest every day. Normally, I supply the classroom as much as I can on my own but need to focus on my own family’s finances more than ever this year. Thank you for contributing to our smart, funny, caring community of kids.
