I teach elementary special education, primarily students with Autism and intellectual disabilities. My classroom is always a calming space. I hold high expectations for my students. I make sure my classroom is a place where everyone feels safe, heard, and valued. I advocate for inclusion and help teachers accommodate and modify things in their classroom so that lessons and classwork is accessible for ALL.
