I am a second-year teacher currently teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA. This year, I'll also be coaching cross country at my school. Last year, I didn't have a classroom and had to change rooms every period, but this year, I'm excited to have my own room. As a dedicated runner and mother, I have a passion for learning and view failure as just another opportunity to learn. In my teaching journey, my students inspire and teach me as much as I aim to do for them. The items on my list will conform my room into a welcoming environment that students will feel comfortable in and supported. I hope to foster a community in my class where students desire to learn. My room will be Disney inspired because every Disney story has a lesson to learn from.
