I am a high-school teacher and pathway coordinator in Waco. I started out as a nurse in 2002 and went into teaching in 2016. I teach 9th-12th grades. I started out teaching CNA classes and now am building a new program from the floor up. This pathway will lead to a future in kinesiology for our students. When the students leave me, they will have the opportunity to have a certification in personal training. I teach 4 preps in this pathway: Anatomy & Physiology, Exercise Science & Wellness, kinesiology, & Exercise Science Practicum. I am in need of these things for my classroom as our budget is about $100 and most everything comes out of my own pocket. We are a public charter school and most all of our students are from a lower socioeconomic class. These students are my children for 9 months out of the year and I love them whole-heartedly. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
