I am going into my 8th year of teaching! I taught 5 years in Missouri and now going to be 3 in Kansas. My classroom is a little unconventional. I am a FACS (used to be Home Ec) teacher for a middle school. We are heavy in the Sewing and Foods units. I get the kids very active in all we do. They also include teachers in the larger projects and foods they make!
