I'm starting my 22nd year as a high school math teacher. I currently teach 10-12 grade struggling learners in Geometry, College Math, and Algebra 2 in a very large suburban school district. My students have a difficult time with math. Many of my students qualify for free and/or reduced lunch due to their income. I have students who primarily speak Spanish when not in school. It's difficult to ask and expect struggling families to supply the necessary school supplies for a successful school year. My goal is to create a classroom that is inviting and welcoming for all. For many, this might be their home away from home. If you feel led and are able, please consider helping me with 1-2 items on my list.
