My name is Ms. Lopez and I am a first year special ed K-2 teacher. I began teaching sped in January of this year and it was an amazing adventure. I teach at a title 1 school where resources are very limited and our community is low income. I’ve created this wishlist with items that will facilitate my students learning and academic success. All of my students face unique challenges, and your support can provide the tools they need to succeed. Every item on this list was purposely chosen with my students needs in mind. Many of my students require tangible items to complete task or self-regulate. Because I am new to sped, my classroom is completely empty and I do not have the necessary tools to set up my classroom to provide a welcoming space for my students. I kindly ask that you help clear our wishlist so that I can make this school year the best one yet
