Hello! I have been teaching for 20 years, mostly in intermediate grades. This year, I’ll be in a new grade (3rd). I am passionate about meeting the needs of all of my students, whether physical, emotional, or educational. I have started a Care Closet in my room to make sure that kids have all they need- from snacks to chapstick, to toothbrushes. Physical needs must be met so a child can learn, and I reach in a school with a high poverty, English language learner, and emotional support population. My classroom is designed to feel safe and functional for each child. I provide everything from fidgets to flexible seating to noise cancelling headphones. Any help you can offer through my wishlist is much appreciated! Thank you!
