My name is Casey Laskowski and I teach 5th grade at a k-8 school. My school is apart of a low income inner city district and it is called Clay International Academy. We practice our IB Mission which focuses on creating well rounded global citizens using a variety of methods across all subject matter. Students strive to be principled, respectful scholars who use many lines of inquiry to learn. I am also a mother to 3 kids that attend my school because I love and believe in it so much. Aside from teaching I coach 6-8 grade volleyball, run a girls group called "Chicks with Kicks", sponsor our student council, and am acting president for our PTSO.
